TerawangNews.com , JAKARTA – Juru Bicara Satuan Tugas Penanganan Covid-19 (Satgas Covid-19) Wiku Adisasmito menjelaskan terkait jumlah pengujian dan jumlah suspect Covid-19 yang mengalami penurunan.
Wiku mengalami tren penurunan angka pengujian dan pemeriksaan spesimen Covid-19 setiap akhir pekan atau libur panjang.
“Menurut data analisis, terjadi tren penurunan pengujian setiap akhir minggu atau saat libur panjang,” kata Wiku Adisasmito saat memberikan keterangan pers secara virtual, Selasa (3/11/2020) dikutip dari beritasatu.com.
Kondisi tersebut salah satu tantangan yang sedang Satgas Covid-19 selesai. Mengingat virus corona tidak pernah libur untuk menyerang masyarakat. Karena itu, Satgas Covid-19 harus bisa mengantisipasi momen akhir pekan atau libur panjang kedepannya.
“Misalnya melalui operasional laboratorium, melalui penambahan shift kerja laboratorium, dengan pertimbangan intensif yang memadai,” ujar Wiku Adisasmito.
Satgas Covid-19, lanjut Wiku, juga terus berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah daerah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas laboratorium dan fasilitas pendukung lainnya seperti reagen.
“Namun demikian terdapat beberapa berita populer yang berada di wilayah pengujian yang luas, jumlah masyarakat jumlah yang harus pengujian. Oleh karena itu kami meminta peran aktif dari masyarakat dalam mendukung pengujian yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah,” terang Wiku Adisasmito.
Pada prinsipnya, tambah Wiku, Satgas Covid-19 terus mendorong pemerintah daerah untuk melakukan pengujian secara maksimal dan menyeluruh. Sebagai upaya deteksi dini terhadap kasus positif Covid-19 di daerahnya masing-masing. “Selain itu perlu evaluasi terhadap operasional Laboratorium,” tukas Wiku Adisasmito.
